You decide to leave the dirty, unkempt house by the back door and make your way over to it. There is a dead bolt on it but it comes open easily and you step outside into the alley at the rear of the house.

Above you a window opens and you look up to see a figure leap out onto the roof of the next building and escape. This is the consequence of not checking upstairs and you have now lost an important lead. You have no option but to leave here and head for town. Maybe somebody there will know of Sancho's whereabouts.
